Been Too Long

So its been forever since I've posted! Wow, Im bad at this, and also very busy!

Well now Cole and Carter are both crawling EVERYWHERE! Its insane how fast this happens! Carter has discovered the dog dish and tries to get to it before momma sees him! They both army crawl right now, but they sure are rockin on their knees! So I know it wont be long til they are doing that!

Carter is getting his 3rd tooth in, all on the bottom! Cole still only has 2! They love to eat table food! And I might add that they have some major sweet tooth! Just like their parents though, can't blame them!

Carter is practicing waving hi! He has said "ma ma" alot! Cole just "roooars" like a Lion!! its so darn cute though!

So I've started my diet like 2 weeks ago and Im down 8lbs!! Yay for mommy! Cant wait til I get to my final goal!!!!

Army Crawling

Carter has officially started army crawling! He is just a little over 7 months! Wow, I was hoping they would be a late in this because I am for sure not ready!! Its so sweet to watch though!
I know it wont be long til Cole starts to do it too! He is definitely really trying to do it!!

New bath seats

I ordered some bath seats from Wal-Mart! The boys were ready to get out of their lil bath tubs! I ordered one just to see if they like it! Im gonna order another once because they loved it!!! It was so cute!

I went to the store today to get some more baby food, and I found some that had chicken and turkey in them! So tonight the boys got their first bit of chicken! Yum, they loved it!!

They are rolling, rolling, rolling, and rolling even more ...going EVERYWHERE!! Today they were in their jumperoos just laughing hysterically at each other! They are getting just so cute with each other! I love it!

Tonight I went to David's Bridal with my best friend, Tricia, that is home from North Carolina and just got engaged. It was so fun to see her try on dresses and to try on bridesmaid dresses!

Tomorrow is 4th of July, we are having breakfast with Tricia and her fiance, Brandon. Then going to our families in the evening and doing some fireworks!

The boys first 4th of July, should be lotsa fun! They have cute shirts to wear at least! =)

Back from vacation!

We are back from Orlando! We had a great time! We mainly spent our days at the pool because it was ridiculously hot out! Of course, the boys still nap alot, so they didnt make too many appearances! Lucky me, daddy would take them back to the condo to nap so I could get some sun!
The boys absolutely loved the water! Cole liked to splash himself, and Carter liked to kick his legs thinking he was big stuff to swim!!
They did great on the airplane! No problems with them at all! They pretty much stayed on schedule, so that was great too!
We went to Magic Kingdom for half a day! It was just way too hott! I also got to see my college friend who was in our wedding! She enjoyed seeing the babies!
I didnt want to go home at all!! I was enjoying being with Adam and the boys all day!! Plus we came home to me being sick and the boys as well! Oh well!

DISNEY!!

Well we are heading off to Orlando this morning! I promise to take lots of pics and blog what goes on! We are soo ready for a vacation! Yay!

BUSY BUSY!

It has been so crazy for us the past 2 weeks!! Adam graduated from college, FINALLY! Yay! Im so proud of him!! We celebrated Friday night with dinner at Jakes with all our families and some friends! My nephew, Grant, also graduated from Kindergarten! Cant believe he is 6 already! I love him!

The boys are doing great! They will be 6months tomorrow! Cant believe that 6 months has passed so quickly! We have tried all the solids that we can and everything seems to be a hit except maybe peaches and carrots!

They are both drinking out of sippy cups now! Cole really loves it! They are starting to really notice each other lately! They look at each other and just smile, and have been talking to each other quite a bit. Carter has a very very sharp tooth and another one coming in right beside it.

We have another busy weekend this weekend! Our cousin, Rusty, is graduating from high school! His party is Friday night and ceremony is Saturday! Adam's great grandpa died the other day so we also have his calling hours and funeral this weekend! AND I scheduled to get the boys 6 month pictures taken! Seriously, could we squeeze anything else in?!?!? =)

Life has been so fun lately! The boys are doing new things all time! Love it!

Solids

The boys have been starting to eat food probably the last month or so! Of course, we started out with the rice cereal! We have also tried apples, bananas, peaches, prunes, and sweet potatoes!! They love all of them so far! I know, Im kinda bad about the veggies, but we are getting there! Gonna try carrots soon-- probably wont be a big hit!
Also, last night, I had them try a sippy cup with some apple juice in it! Cole did the best, of course! Hes my go-getter! However, Carters tooth is coming in!! he was chewing on my finger and boy could I feel it! Super sharp!
I feel like the boys are always doing something new and I really want to write about everything!
Like, rolling over! Carter is my rolly polly ollie--thats what I call him! He wants to roll around the crib all the time--when its supposed to be nap time! Cole is my much better sleeper--I think it might be because hes such a SPAZ when he is awake!
They love toys and chewing on anything and everything! They are getting such a personality! They sure love their daddy's voice! When he walks in, they about break their necks to see him! So adorable! They are just so fun right now!

Mommas Day

I had a great Mommys Day on Sunday! Adam got me a ring with double hearts on it! Its a gift from the boys--but ya know, they cant get out and get me something just yet! :) It was just so sweet! We went to church in the morning and all the guys made us breakfast in Sunday school! Yummy- plus my hubby was the main chef! haha hes so cute! We went out to eat with my family to the Old Bag of Nails restaurant--yummy too! Then off to my pedicure (my actual mothers day celebration of me-;)..then I met Adam over at his familys house! It was busy, but fun! I love my boys so much! I am reminded pretty much daily of how blessed I am that I not only have 1 miracle, I have TWO!!! They are healthy amazing boys! I heard a family that just lost their 11month old daughter who has been fighting for her life since she was born at 1lb.! Wow, I cant imagine going thru that--I had perfect healthy boys! That family is def. in my prayers today! So happy to be a mommy!
P.s. Pray for my grandma still--shes recovering from a major surgery! Thanks

New Hair Do & TV Junkies

Last night I went and got my hair cut! I needed it cut so bad, so Daddy kept the boys for me while I went and had it done! Such a sweetheart!Im so happy its the weekend! I LOVE Fridays and Saturdays!

I found the boys like this the other day! They absolutely LOVE tv! They are always trying to watch it! I had just changed their diapers and went to throw them away, and I found them like this! They are so cute!

Bumbos

The boys have been sitting in their bumbos once in awhile! I try to put them in it to practice holding their heads up! The other day they did so well with it!
We are still feeding them cereal once a day, at night! I switch back from plain rice cereal to mixed fruit cereal! They seem to like both just the same!
Carter is doing much better playin on his belly and holding his head up! I think he is about to roll over from his back to belly, he seems to be so close! We got home from work yesterday and Carter was grunting and finally filled his diaper! I went to go change it and it was up his back down his shoulders! It was CRAZY!!!! I had to go give him and Cole a sponge bath because Daddy wasnt home yet to help me with a real bath! Oh my word, it was a crazy diaper! I was just glad he gave it to me and not the nursery workers later on! =)
Just got a call that my Grandma is going to have surgery so hopefully we will be able to go up and see her! We've had revival this whole week at our church and its been such a blessing!

Friday we went to Easton to pick up the pics we had taken with the bunnies! They turned out so cute, I'll post them soon when I get the CD! I actually got to shop too down there! Got some cute stuff for ME! Doesnt happen too often!

Friday night we went down to Splash Harbor and relaxed! The boys loved the hot tub! It was fun! Here are some pics from it!

Just wanted to write and say Carter finally didnt wake up once or twice in the night!!! (well at least I dont think he did) I was so happy! He was waking up a lil I think because teething is bothering him!....Such good lil babies!!

We are going down to Easton today to pick up the pics that they had taken with my nephews! Excited to get them!

What we've done so far....

So since Ive started this sort of late, I wanted to write what all they done so far...
-started sleeping thru the night 8-11 hrs.
-still exclusively breastfeeding
-cutting their first tooth
-holding their heads up well
-chewing on fists and anything else they can get their hands on
-eating cereal
-smiling and laughing out loud
-loves toys and picks them up
-rolls over from tummy to back

Cole..is my lil sweet voice, high-pitched cry sweetheart! He LOVES to smile, laugh, and sleep! Hes a spaz sometimes and gets soo excited about the littlest things! His favorite thing right now is his monkey that Grandma Folger got him!

Carter..is my tender hearted one! Hes been more of the sensitive one! He has a deeper voice and deeper cry! He hates to be woken up and gives the poochy lip alot! His favorite thing right now is his yummy fist!
